Wonderful Carnelian silver ring from Afghanistan. It is decorated with blue beads. Interesting ethnic design in islamic tradition. But the absolute highlight is the great Red Carnelian stone. A wonderful piece of craftsmanship. Probably made by a turkoman silversmith from the north of Afghanistan. Especially the islamic Teke tribe uses Carnelian stones.
